Next 2009 Parenting Series Classes:
MEDITATION FOR PARENTING
Thursday, July 9, 6-8pm
This workshop looks at basic meditation principles and overlays them into our work as parents. In this workshop we’ll review meditation and see how we can appropriately incorporate these skills into our daily interactions with children. Meditation practice encourages parents to be in full awareness when considering our response to a variety of situations. This can be especially helpful for parents who are busy, distracted and multi tasking when dealing with our children. This workshop is designed for parents of children of all ages
See website for pricing and other details. We truly appreciate preregistrations, as there is a minimum attendance requirement to hold this class. |
News and Notes
- New Parent teas will have themes! July - Slings, August - basic AP parenting, September - Nursing Q&A
- Don't forget our Registration and Cancelation Policies: As a small business, pre-registrations really help us be most efficient and keep our costs and, therefore, prices lower. If you plan to attend a class, please register when you decide. If there are no pre-registrations, we give the instructor the option to cancel. Most instructors will teach if someone signs up.
You are always welcome to attend if you have not pre-registered! On occasion, a class is canceled due to lack of registrants, so we invite you to call ahead and be sure we are still holding the class. Some classes do require a minimum attendance to be held. We try to make this very clear and have you encourage others to join us in order to hold the class!
- And look for us on FaceBook! Become a fan and join in on the fun.
